Prior to each shipment, our quality control team conducts inspections and provides to the buyer detailed reports of the product.
Each order is only shipped after receiving explicit approval from our clients. In addition to our product inspections, we also examine every shipment to guarantee that the product we inspected is precisely what the importer will receive.
Our approach not only instills confidence in our customers but also empowers packers to exercise control over their processes, being their “extra eye”.

1994
Yuri's father enters the shrimp industry in the city of Machala, starting a career of more than 29 years of experience in this sector.

2010
At the age of 18, Yuri starts working in the shrimp farm as a fishing controller, marking his first steps in the world of shrimp production. At the same time, he begins his university studies in International Business.

2013
The family acquires the Excamecor packing plant to export shrimp.

2017
Yuri starts working in the commercial department of the family shrimp packing house.

2019
Faced with the limitations of the family plant to meet the demand of foreign customers, Yuri makes the decision to start his own business. He begins to offer products from other exporters, working from home. It is at this moment that Shrimp&Sea is born, initially under a different name.

2021
Shrimp&Sea takes an important step in its growth by opening an office in Guayaquil, Ecuador. This expansion represents a milestone in the professionalization of the company, allowing it to offer greater benefits to both buyers and exporters and consolidate its presence in the international market.
